Further down on the cover of "grind" magazine there is an example of urban functional wear otherwise known as street wear, this is a much less formal style and appeals to the target market of younger people.

fashion and lifestyle magazines such as GQ and Cosmopolitan use a gender profile to attract their specific target through focusing in on their interests, for example although a female reader may buy GQ it would have been specifically designed with males in mind.
